The Fermata

2005

The_fermata_1

The Fermata is a long duration performance, a living installation with minimum acts of breathing and movements in which the artist’s body is the main core of the whole construction of the object.

“Time has no break to turn. The pause I take is unrelated with the measurement of time. This pause is my individual breath and blood flows. I due the pause during the time I have to face the endless cultural and political disburdening process and yet to find my individual axis in between.“

In this performance, I created an object by using a plastic house, made a kind of connected web where the yellow fluid could flow when I blow it.

Duration of the performance: 3 hours

Performed at the Grad Teatar Budva, Budva, Montenegro, 2005
